🧵 Sewcase Labs Thriving Across Canada
This year, more northern and remote classrooms launched or expanded Sewcase labs, giving students hands-on access to sewing machines, tools, and mentorship. Your leadership continues to turn these spaces into places of healing, pride, and skill-building.
👗 Students on the Runway
Two students and their teachers from St. Theresa Point made the 1,000 km journey to Saskatoon to showcase their work at Saskatchewan Fashion Week — a trip that sparked the attention of many and moved everyone who followed their story. Their courage and creativity represent what Sewcase is all about.
🌟 Inspiring Visits & Guest Mentors
From visiting artists to industry professionals, Sewcase classrooms welcomed several special guests this year. One standout moment was a workshop with Waytt Miller of Sparked Apparel, who shared his fashion journey with students in Kitigan Zibi — a powerful reminder of how mentorship fuels possibility.
