What an amazing visit to Kitigan Zibi Kikinamadinan School!
The students here are so luck to have Stephanie Tenasco, Kelly Diabo and Tammy Pizendewatch Twashi as part of the team sharing traditional skills like moose hide scraping, tanning, sewing, beading and so many more traditional teachings. This is truly an inspiring community rich with love, culture and so much talent!
We are very excited to learn about the plans for a community fashion show in the new year. It’s always such a joy to see our sewing program making a difference, especially with a dedicated teacher like Kelly bringing it altogether!
