Sewing Machine Introduction
Welcome to the Sewcase community! We’re here to help you set up your skills lab so please remember you can always reach out to us for extra support! As a starting point once you have unboxed your sewing machines, we strongly suggest getting staff members together to get familiar with the sewing machines and basic maintenance. We have a couple of videos to help support along the way!
Once you are ready to start threading your machines, please use the video below to help you along the way. Remember to use quality thread in your sewing machines (like Mettler, Gutermann or similar) as older threads or cheaper threads can break easily and casue problems during sewing.
Once you are all threaded up, we recommend repeated the threading until it feels comfortable and you can do it from memory! Take your new skills and help a friend who might be stuck! This will not only help your friend, but it will also ensure your muscle memory when it comes to setting up your own machine!
